The 150.000 m2 Mill Lake belongs to the Borbjerg Mølle Inn. Fishing is allowed under the Catch and Release rules, and all interested parties are allowed - but all fish MUST be released. The most common species caught is pike and bass
At the annual 1. may fishing conpetition the 2012 record was a 96 cm pike, caught by Rene Dueholm. The prize was a one year membership of the Mill Lake fishing club.
Fishing is allowed from the edge of the lake, the bridges, rented fishing boats or floating rings brought from home. All equipment must be your own. The rules below must be obeyed, and breaking them is cause for immediate banishment and cancellation of any membership cards.
The following rules are in effect:
- Fishing is only allowed if using artificial bait; wobler, spinner, blink.
- Only hooks without barbs are allowed.
- No fishing with dead or live fish bait is allowed under any cercumstances.
- Every caught fish, no matter the breed, must be gently dehooked and released back into the lake.
If you fancy a trip onto the lake, rowing boats, canoes and cycle boats are available for rent. Naturally, we also rent out life vests.
